Evolving during lockdown

It's been almost a month since the country is under lockdown, the world economy has crashed, and the humanitarian crisis is at its peak. Everything that was considered normal, isn’t anymore.

The way we live, work, communicate is far from what used to be normal.

The most important lesson we can learn from this crisis is evolution. Although, as an organisation, we have always believed in ‘evolution’, and it is also one of the values we live by. However, now, we must do it more than ever. Adaptation to the new 'normal' has become imperative to thrive in the post-pandemic period.

We understand that and hence we are in the process of re-evaluating our strengths, eliminating our weakness and working towards being better than what we were. Our re-evaluation journey consists of 3 Ts - Technology, Training and Transformation.

Technology

We have been advocates of technology since day 1. The main objective to start PrintStop was to digitise print operations for the ease of customers. We have taken our technology use a step further. Our systems have been upgraded to enable our workforce to work from home and stay safe.

While the mode of our operations has changed, our work ethos has remained the same. We are as connected with our team and clients as we were before.

Training

The best way to spend the lockdown is by learning something new. People at PrintStop completely believe that.

Earlier, we didn’t have a formal training structure in place. However, the downtime helped us put together a structured learning management system that looks after the capability building of our workforce. The training ranges from soft skills, communication and language, Excel to Lean principles. With this training, we aim to build an agile workforce that is ready to take on the future.

Transformation

Lockdown has given us a silver lining. There’s ample of free time in our hands to introspect. We have taken this as opportunity to reinvent ourselves.

Our teams are motivated to work in a more efficient way. Their radical ideas have helped us improve our products. We are eliminating wastage from our processes. Older methods have been replaced by leaner, efficient ones.

Till now, we have helped companies like Xerox, Randstad, Deloitte, Siemens, Dr. Reddy’s, Bajaj Allianz, HDFC, Yes Bank to simplify their printing processes. Now, we are upgrading ourselves to help them better. We know that post COVID era is going to be a different one, and we are poised to do well.
